Alzheimer’s early detection

METAMORA — Snyder Village will host an educational program on the topic of Alzheimer’s disease entitled “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters” on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 6 pm in the SV Center. A presenter from the Alzheimer’s Association’s Peoria office will discuss the warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease and how they are often dismissed as normal age-related memory changes.

Attendees will learn the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease and will learn the facts and myths associated with it, including commonly held misconceptions. You’ll hear from people who have the disease, find out how to recognize the warning signs in yourself and others, and learn why early detection matters.

This session is free, but advanced registration is required by contacting the Alzheimer’s Association at (309) 681-1100 or visit to register.
