Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday signifies the beginning of the holiday giving season. Although generosity is encouraged every day of the year, Giving Tuesday is November 30, 2021.
You can support the residents of Snyder Village this Giving Tuesday by making a gift to the Resident In Need Fund.
RESIDENT IN NEED FUND
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Snyder Village is committed to providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others in a loving, dignified, and Christian atmosphere.
While keeping the focus on a high standard of resident care, Snyder Village established the unique “Resident In Need Fund”. This Fund allows Snyder Village to continue caring for those who have exhausted their personal resources and can no longer pay for the cost of their continuing care. Medicaid only covers roughly 57% of the actual daily cost of care for a Health Center resident who has exhausted their funds. This leaves $106 per day unfunded for each resident relying on Medicaid. The unfunded difference falls to Snyder Village to cover.
PARTNER WITH US
Will you consider partnering with us this Giving Tuesday to build the Resident In Need Fund and bridge the funding gap? Your gifts will make a significant difference in the lives of seniors needing care. While the Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign will run November 20-30, 2021, donations designated for Giving Tuesday can be made at any time. We appreciate your support!
