Nichole Sparks, Chillicothe, was awarded the Bernadine A. Whittington Memorial Nursing Scholarship in August at Snyder Village in Metamora. Made to honor the late Snyder Village Assisted Living resident by her sons, the scholarship was established to reward a current Snyder Village employee pursuing a nursing degree.
Nichole currently works in social services at Snyder Village. Pictured above: Nichole and Marge Cunningham, director of Social Services at Snyder Village. The college graduate is returning to Methodist College to complete their RN/BSN program. Applicants were required to submit an essay which was used to select the winner of the $1,000 scholarship.
