Congratulations to the 2020 Whittington Memorial Scholarship recipient, Shelby Crew! Shelby is a caregiver at Snyder Village Assisted Living.
In appreciation of the care that Mrs. Whittington received from the staff at Snyder Village in her later years, the $1,000 scholarship is being provided by her family in her honor and memory. The scholarship is for the benefit of Snyder Village employees who are currently nursing students and will be continuing classes in the fall toward a degree in nursing. The award winner’s essay was chosen by the Whittingtons from a group of entries. The theme of the essay was “What is your passion for nursing and/or why did you choose this field of study?”. Congratulations to this year’s award winner!
