With independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, and home care offered, Snyder Village supports its residents through whatever stage of life they may be in. There are many opportunities to stay engaged and active at Snyder Village. The community offers residents an active social calendar with a wide variety of activities such as fitness classes, luncheons, Bible studies, movies, bingo, performances from local entertainers, visits to museums and the theater, and much more!
Dining at Snyder
Homemade meals, special-occasion dinners, and trips to local restaurants help satisfy residents’ appetites -whether they enjoy hometown cooking or are more culinary-curious. The several Bistros around campus have menu items that regularly change, allowing for a variety of foods and dishes. Along with a set menu option for each meal, residents and guests are able to pick and choose delicious food items from our grill menu if they desire.
Stay Social
With friendly neighbors, active clubs, community parties, and sponsored activities, there are plenty of ways to socialize and avoid isolation at Snyder Village. Residents enjoy sharing hobbies together, such as gardening, playing cards, or biking. A sense of community is evident at the Protestant church services and Catholic Mass held on campus each week. With our range of social and physical activities, our residents are guaranteed to never get bored or feel lonely.
Comfort and Safety
Our community is designed with the residents’ comfort and safety in mind. Residents are encouraged to decorate and personalize their own living space, and the community spaces at Snyder Village are filled with furniture and finishes specifically chosen for the residents’ comfort. Furniture pieces are thoughtfully selected with armrests and heights that allow for easier mobility. Hallways are lined with handrails and seating. Our Memory Care programs have specialized safety measures and features for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s, such as beautiful courtyards with walking paths that residents can enjoy safely.
